Random Panda is Random.

I've been tagged! Jen at "love FOOD cook FOOD" has dragged me kicking and screaming into this game! It's a little game going around which gives us an opportunity to ramble on about our ourselves. As if we don't all do enough of that already ;)

So in order to keep your attention.. I'm going to berate you with randomness throughout this post. Firstly, here's an gif of baby owls.

Everyone loves baby owls. If you don't, be ashamed. Eternal shame on you. Shame shame shame.

Anyways, here are the rules to this tag game:

1. You must post the rules. (I almost didn't, I know, I'm such a rebel.)

2. Post 6 fun facts about yourself in the blog post.

It was meant to be 12 facts, 12 questions and 12 tags but I felt that was a little bit too indulgent. Also, let's face it, I have the attention span of goldfish.

Back to the tag game. So 6 things you might not know about me:


1. I had open heart surgery on 12/08/2010 to correct a congenital problem called Coarctation of the Aorta. 


2. After the surgery, I went on to become Intermediate Men's Champion in Scottish University Trampolining 2010/2011.


3. I HATE Avocados.


4. My dog is called Tigger and he is a cross between a Border Collie and a Dalmatian. He is black and white and fluffy like a Border Collie. However, where he is white, he has black spots like a dalmatian. My Dad calls him a "Dollie" breed.


5. When I was younger, I thought that if you jumped off the roof with an umbrella up, that you would fly like Mary Poppins. Luckily, I never tested this idea.


6. When I'm really hungover, I need to lie face down on the floor. I have no idea why this happens but it makes me feel immediately better.

Back to the game, Jen's questions:

1. What’s your most used kitchen gadget? Probably my electric handheld whisk.
2. Which ingredient could you not live without? Chocolate. I don't want to think about living without it. I might cry.
3. What dish means Christmas to you? Roast Potatoes.. is that weird?
4. If you could choose a cake for your birthday, which kind would you choose? Something very alcoholic. Could you just make me a cake made of champagne? Does that still count as cake? That would be perfect. 
5. If you were stuck in the desert how would you survive? Why would I be in a desert? Who's bright idea was it to go to a desert? How did I end up in said desert? I would probably do a Captain Jack Sparrow and pull out my secret stash of alcohol and just get drunk till someone saved me.
6. What’s the meanest trick you’ve ever pulled? Mean? Me? No way. Although, when I was in first year, I lived with a bunch of girls in University Halls. I used to hide around corners and in their wardrobes to try and scare them. They tried to do it to me once. However, when I opened my bedroom door, all I could hear was giggling coming out of my wardobe. They were very drunk and loudly whispering "We're just like ninjas."
